5 Stylish Bathroom Updates That Won’t Break the Bank

Our Founder, Megan Hersch, sat down with The Spruce to talk about quick and easy (read: don't break the bank) ways you can update your Bathroom in a weekend.
Her top 5 ideas for Bathroom "lift" without any major construction work are as follows:
A New Coat of Paint is Always a Welcome Change.
Brighten and lighted with a Soft pale green or go moody and bold with a deep dark blue or even ruddy red for an immediate big change.
Switching out cabinet knobs on your vanity.
Will transform a simple cabinet into something that may be more characteristically your style. Stop in at Anthropologie for unique inlaid knobs or shop Etsy for a huge range of everything from rustic iron to leather pulls, this is really the easiest and my favorite trick!
Switch out your Bathroom sconce if you have one.
Opt for something bold or more decorative and colorful, if that’s your style. Build.com has a range of fixtures in styles and prices and Etsy has some unique contemporary fixtures that are fun.
I love to add a new piece of art every so often in my bathroom.
It can be small, perhaps hung over the toilet or over the towel bar. A postcard from a trip you took, something fun and personal is always a good option and doesn’t have to break the bank here.
If you have a shower with a curtain - change it up for a big impact!
Society 6 has fun visuals and prints and you can match with colorful towels and bring a whole new color palette into your room.
I hope these ideas are inspirational and actionable - we always intend to provide concrete ideas as we help people on their journey toward loving where they live!
