Picking a color palette for your room is really simple. Here's how

“We weren't prepared to spend a lot of money on the bedroom so we hired Megan to help us design the room within our budget. Megan was amazing! I am SO GLAD we did the dark wall. It looks so rich and marvelous!”

Picking a color scheme for your room doesn’t have to be hard.
If you’re wondering what wall color goes with your couch, you wanna start off with a basic color wheel.
The three most popular color schemes are:
Monochromatic, which is all shades and tones of a single color hue.
Be careful because it’s easy to apply but it can get boring fast, so you’ll definitely want to add contrast, texture or patterns to keep it interesting.
Next up is analogous: 3 or more colors that sit next to each other in the color wheel. So, yellow, orange and red; green, blue and purple; etc.
And finally, a tried and true scheme is complimentary: these are colors that are opposite to one another: pink and green, orange and blue, yellow and purple. You get the gist.
Pick one as your main color and use the other one for accents.
You can also use neutrals as a base and use these techniques to pick accents colors.
Remember, choosing your colors should be one of the most fun stages of your interior design journey. Don’t fret and keep in mind, your space is for you to love!
Happy coloring!
