The 2024 color of the year is here

2024 is right around the corner, and we all know what that means:

The Pantone Color Institute got together and decided the color that will rule the coming year:

Welcome to Peach Fuzz

The Pantone Color Institute named its color of the year on Thursday, declaring our need for compassion and human connection in the year ahead.

Only one shade can deliver on that front: Peach Fuzz, a gentle, warm and cozy, subtly sensual and heartfelt color.

A "velvety peach tone", it's meant to represent "our desire to nurture ourselves and others" and "whose all-embracing spirit enriches mind, body, and soul."

Now what?

Well, Pantone's Color of The Year takes into consideration a number of factors like upcoming sporting events, cultural events, etc.

It will influence product development and design trends for the year to come, as it has every year since its inception.

Here at roomLift we've been fans of Peach for a while now, so much so that we used it for this client a few years back:

Talk about staying ahead of the curve.

In any case, whether you love it or hate it, expect to see it much more this year, with products, special editions and design trends following Pantone's lead.
